How to Add Your Website Links to a BOKBOK Chatbot

To let BOKBOK answer questions using your website content, you need to add your website links to the chatbot. In this short guide, you will see how to create a chatbot, click the edit button, and then add each website route one by one so the bot can read and use that information.

Why Adding Website Links Matters for Your Chatbot

BOKBOK can use your website pages as a main source of truth. When you add your website links to a chatbot, you are telling the AI:

  • “These are the routes that describe my products, pricing, and rules.”
  • “Use this information to answer customers instead of guessing from the internet.”

The process is simple: you create a chatbot, open its edit screen, and then paste in your website URLs one by one until all important routes.

Step 1: Create a Chatbot You Want to Attach Your Website To

First, you need a chatbot to work with. From your BOKBOK dashboard:

  1. Sign in to BOKBOK and go to the main Chatbots list.
  2. Click the button to create a new chatbot (or choose an existing one you want to update).
  3. Give the chatbot a simple name, such as “Website Support Bot” or “Main Site FAQ Bot”.

After this, you will see your chatbot in the list, ready to be edited with your website links and instructions.

Step 2: Open the Edit Screen for That Chatbot

In the chatbots list, find the specific chatbot that should use your website data. On the right side of that row, there is an Edit button.

Think of this screen as the place where you tell the chatbot both what information it can read (your links) and how it should behave (your instructions).

Step 3: Add Your Website Links One by One

Inside the edit view, go to the area where you can manage your website or URL sources. The goal is to add each important website page as its own link so BOKBOK can crawl and understand that content.

  1. Take one route from your website, such as your homepage or a key product page.
  2. Paste that full URL into the website links field for the chatbot.
  3. Click Add signle URL button.
  4. Repeat this for every important page you want the chatbot to learn from.

For example, you might add links like your homepage, pricing page, FAQ page, features pages, and any help articles that explain your service. Each route gives the chatbot more accurate material to answer from.

You do not need to add every tiny page, but you should include the routes that explain what you do, how pricing works, what is allowed, and how customers can get started.

Turn Your Website into a Knowledge Base for Your Chatbot

By creating a chatbot, opening its edit screen, and adding your website links one by one, you turn your own site into a live knowledge base that BOKBOK can use in every conversation.

This keeps answers close to your real content and removes the need to manually copy text into the bot. Every time you improve your website pages, your chatbot becomes more helpful too.
